BIRD, Lucknow caters to the training, consultancy and research requirements of Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions and also other stakeholder organisations working in Government as well as Non-Government sectors in the areas of rural credit and rural development. BIRD operates under 5 verticals viz. Development & Projects (D & P), Finance, Micro-Finance & Financial Inclusion (MFFI), Human Resource Development (HRD) and Information Technology (IT).
In addition to the programmes sponsored by NABARD, BIRD also conducts customised programmes/demand based paid programmes for various clients. BIRD also collaborate with GoI for conduct of training programmes for civil servants and international participants.
